Some touch-ups will be needed if I'm really going to set a high price for this. (High price=more money to relief.)
I did a little research about what I'm up against; really pretty and nice products...>.> There's this one product on Etsy.com that is around $90! It's customized (like mine), but it looks more professional and the materials used are really good quality.
I'll need to revise my (sphere) prototypes by:
1) changing to better material,
2) add a center to the flower (sparkle or such)
3) add a bell at the bottom
4) better paper for "plaque"
5) better edges (folding)
6) better string
I have yet to make the eternal love bouquets...but when I do, I'll need to:
1) use transparent plastic sheets (w/ or w/o designs)
2) better paper
3) add center to flower
4) more types of flowers (lily, rose)
I'll get the prototype pictures up ASAP.
"Kusadama For Japan" is a small summer project I'm doing that involves making kusudama prosperity spheres and donating 50% of the money earned to Japan and 50% to other countries in need. Follow me through my adventures as I try to change the world.

Plan? What Plan? This Awesome One!
The plan is to make "Kusudama Prosperity Wind Chimes" (what I'm calling it at the time being) and "Eternal Love Bouquets".
The Wind Chimes (in picture on the bottom left) will have a 12-piece flower sphere, "plaque", and bell on a piece of white string. (The materials will be upgraded once I set a real price and know people are interested.) There will be a total of 10 color choices, ranging from yellow, to fucia (dark pink).
The customer will be able to customize the:
1)color(s)
2)length of string
3)words on "plaque"
4)single, deluxe (bottom middle picture)
Hopefully, giving the customers the freedom to choose EXACTLY how they want it will satisfy them! (:
The "Eternal Love Bouquets" (I haven't come up with a real name yet) will be a mix of origami flowers in a beautiful, elegant bouquet that can be given to anyone as a gift. I made on for my mom for Mother's Day! They (bottom left picture) aren't going to look exactly like this, but it'll be similar. THIS will be much more knotty to make.
The customer will be able to choose the:
1)color(s) of specific flowers if they specify
2)the type of flowers (probably around 5 choices)
3)the color of the wrapping and ribbon (if they so choose to add it)
4)how many of each flower
I'm only planning on doing this 'til the end of summer, but if business is well, I'll make them until my hands are dead. :D

The Beginning of the Beginning
A hurricane struck the coast of Honshu, Japan on March 8, 2011, followed my hundreds of aftershocks, including an 8.9 aftershock that caused a horrific tsunami that completely devastated the island nation. Relief efforts have been made ever since, but our society soon forgets, and it has. We never hear about those disasters in Haiti, Chile, and China anymore; what happened? Did everything become okay again since there are no more stories? The newscasters and journalists (in general) are always looking for new and unusual stories to report on. Perhaps Haiti, Chile, China, Japan, and other forgotten countries have become "boring" to some, and since the news does not report about them anymore, they are forgotten.
It is up to the ones that really care to go against the flow of society to change it for the better. I believe I am one of them. If I'm not able to change society, I'll change lives. It's up to us to speak for those who can't, and act for those who won't; so I'm starting this teeny-tiny little business/project to donate to the forgotten.
It's up to us to make them remembered again.
